Pieces shoot enemies from a distance instead of moving to capture.
How to play
Pieces move normally onto empty squares, but they never move to capture. Instead they shoot: any enemy piece a piece could normally capture is blasted off the board while the shooter stays where it is. Pawns shoot diagonally forward, knights hit their L-squares, and sliders fire along clear lines. There is no check: shoot the enemy king to win. After firing, a piece must reload: it cannot shoot on its next turn, but it may still move (reloading pieces are ringed in orange). A side with no moves loses. The game is a draw after 300 moves in total (150 each). No castling or en passant.
You play White against the bot. Tap a piece, then tap a highlighted square.
