A die roll decides which piece type you may move.
How to play
At the start of every turn a six-sided die is rolled, and the number is how far any piece may move: rooks, bishops, queens and the king move up to that many squares along their lines. Knights and pawns move normally whatever the roll. If no piece can move, your turn passes. Pawns that reach the last rank become queens. There is no checkmate — win by capturing the enemy king. You play White.
